Becoming Your Best Self


"No one is you, and that is your super power."

I am currently on a journey to become my best self. 
I think everyone should want to become their best self. 
We need more kind and authentic people in this world.

So, here are some steps to becoming your best self: 

Let go of negativity
For me, this is the first step to take when becoming a better you. Negativity can hold us back from all the great things that life brings, especially happiness. If you're always saying "I have the worst luck" or "nothing goes right in my life" (I honestly used to say things like this all the time) then that's what you're going to get in return. Negative feedback. Because you are only choosing to look at the negative things instead of the positive. Stay positive! No matter the situation. 

Live authentically 
Never hide your true self. Do you! It takes a long time to become comfortable in your own skin, so when you finally get there never apologize or hide who you are. Be confident and love yourself. 

Be kind to others, it costs nothing. Never act like you are better than anyone else, you're not. Everyone is different, everyone deserves the same respect you and I do. You can't control what others say or do, but you can control your reaction. Say please and thank you. Hold the door. Say excuse me. Don't be rude. This is the easiest thing you can do to become a better person. 

Let go of self-doubt
This one is so important. Letting go of self-doubt is not easy, but it is possible. It involves letting go of others opinions, letting go of the fear of failure, and letting go of comparison. You can do anything you put your mind to.  

Try new things
Trying new things can never be a bad thing. When we push ourselves out of our comfort zone, try new things and have new experiences, we grow. Even if it didn't go the way we wanted it to, we always learn from our experiences. 

Learning to love ourselves is so important. You can't love someone else the right way if you don't love yourself. This can take a while, but along the way, you learn new things about yourself, and you start being more confident. Believe me, it feels great to love who you are and not be afraid of showing it.    


Staying positive, living authentically, being kind, letting go of self-doubt and trying new things are all steps towards becoming your best self.
