6 Ways to Relieve Stress Today!


Whether a long day at work, school or just life, things can be very stressful. Here are 6 things you can do to relieve stress: 


Talk to a friend
Sometimes it helps to just chill and talk to a friend. One that you know and trust of course. It feels good to let your feelings out and just talk about everything. 

Take a bath
I don't do this as often as I'd like but taking a nice bath after a long day can be very relaxing. Light some of your favorite candles, add some bubbles or a couple of calming essential oils and your good to go. 

Get outside
I love going for walks. You're able to breathe and just feel free. Getting some fresh air can calm you and reduce any stress. You can also go for a run and get some exercise. Whatever helps you!

Listen to your favorite songs
I can't express how much I LOVE listening to music. Music has helped me get through so many tough times. It has also helped me relax in stressful situations. Music on, world off.

Drink some tea
Drinking tea can be very relaxing. If you don't like tea you can obviously drink any of your favorite beverages but try picking something soothing and relaxing. Here are just a few great teas that can help relieve stress: peppermint, chamomile, green tea, lemon balm, and rose tea. 

Get off of social media
Being on social media every day can sometimes be stressful. There are so many negative things happening. If you can't take a whole day off, try taking a couple hours off and just have some me time
