6 Steps to feeling less discouraged

Do you ever get discouraged?

I got this great idea for my blog over the weekend. While I was searching for information and creating a list of the things I would need, I found myself feeling discouraged.
These questions came to mind:

What if no one likes my idea?

What if no one supports me?
What if it doesn't work out?
What if I can't do it?

I quickly let go of all those negative thoughts because even if my idea isn't a success I will still have fun and I will learn new things. Here are some great tips for whenever
you start to feel discouragement:

There is no such thing as failure
If we don't get the results, we want when we want it maybe it's time to take new action. Try it a different way, or get some help. Don't think of failure as being bad, think of it as feedback, as learning.

Stop comparing yourself to others
We always tend to compare ourselves to others. I know I do. We see other people's success and strengths, and we want that too. It's great to feel inspired by someone else but never think of yourself as less than them. You have your own unique path.

Think about doing your best work
The reward is always great, but if that's the only reason for doing something then you're not doing it for the right reasons, and it might not turn out as you want it to. Always put your best into everything you do no matter how small. The best reward is knowing that you put your all into it.

Go outside and breath
I always love going for walks, especially when I'm frustrated or need some space. Go outside and get some fresh air and sunshine. It'll help clear your thoughts. Go biking riding, swimming, running, get some exercise, anything.

Talk to someone
It always helps to talk to someone, but not just anyone, someone that you trust and wants the best for you. Letting out those feelings will make you feel so much better. Or you can write it down, that also helps.

Take a break
Don't stress yourself. Don't overwork. Do what you can and then take a break. Rest your mind and body.
