Self-esteem is your overall opinion of yourself. And that opinion should be a positive one. 

We struggle a lot with self-esteem because a lot of times we are forced to compare ourselves to others. Low self-esteem is a signal that something needs to be improved in our lives. 

Here are some helpful tips for building your self-esteem:

  • Stop comparing yourself to others
  • Spend time doing things you enjoy
  • Change the negative thoughts about yourself to positive ones
  • Be kinder towards other people and yourself
  • Focus on your good qualities 
  • Surround yourself with positive people
  • Always believe in yourself even when others don't
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help
